Glanges

Situated 25km south of Limoges and 5km from the A20 betzeen Brive and Limoges, Glanges is a pretty little village with a population of just over 400 spread out over 23km² and 32 hamlets with an aveage altitude of 446m. Nestled snugly between it's two trout-filled rivers (the two Briances), Glanges offers to you it's calm countryside dotted here and there with the beautiful brown cattle that are symbols of the region. From it's highest point 'La Cime Du Puy', you can see, turning clockwise the 'Monts Du Puy de Bar de Blond' near Ambazac, the 'Mont Gargan' backed by the 'Monédières' and, on a clear day, the Auvergne mountains.

There is a certain amount of cultural heritage to discover: the XI/XIIth century church with its medieval relics opposite the 'Maison Mirabeau'.
